The 2017 Spring/Summer FunFinder is now available! A digital copy is attached below. Print copies can be picked up at City Hall.

After you've found something fun to do, register online, call Parks & Recreation at 281-1242, or stop by City Hall from 7:30-4:30 on weekdays.

Job Opening: Water Division Summer Employment

Crookston Public Works-Water Division has openings for summer employment.  Applicant must be at least 18yrs old and have a valid driver license.  Average work week is 40 hours completing by noon on Fridays.

Applications due by April 28th.  Salary is $12.00/hr.

2017 Spring Clean-Up Week

April 24th – April 28th is Spring Clean-Up Week in Crookston. Clean-up items will be picked up only on your regular garbage pickup day and must be placed on the street boulevard. Please note: Compost material - grass clippings, lawn or garden waste - WILL NOT have to be in City compost bags for this week only. Cleanup items should be separated into the following piles:

Job Opening: Janitor

The City of Crookston is seeking part time help for janitorial services. This job will pay $12.00 per hour. Hours worked will vary, may be approximately 2 hours per day.

NOTICE: Garbage Collection

City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 20th in observance of Presidents’ Day. Garbage collection for Monday, February 20th will be collected on Tuesday, February 21st. Tuesday’s garbage collection will remain the same.

NOTICE: Downtown Snow Removal

Downtown snow removal will take place on north/south and east/west streets beginning at midnight tonight (Tuesday, 2/7) barring unforeseen heavy snowfall or other emergency. Please try to park in off street parking lots.

Job Opening: Parks & Recreation Administrative Assistant

This full-time position works under the supervision of the Parks & Recreation Supervisor and provides overall administrative support for the Parks and Recreation Department. Answers the phone for incoming calls and deals with customers who come in person for sign-ups, information, or various permits. Answers questions and gives information to the public to whatever extent is practicable. Has a good general knowledge of the Parks & Recreation Department’s programs, facilities, and parks. Designs forms to keep inventories, records, and lists.
