Job Opening: PT Janitorial (Parks & Rec)

The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking part time help for janitorial services. This job will pay $12/hr and work up to 14 hours per week. Pick up an application packet at City Hall, 124 N. Broadway, call 218-281-1242 to have one mailed to you, or print one from this webpage. Application deadline is October 31, 2017.

2017 Fall Clean-Up Week

October 23rd – October 27th is Fall Clean-Up Week in Crookston. Clean-up items will be picked up only on your regular garbage pickup day and must be placed on the street boulevard. Please note: Compost material - grass clippings, lawn or garden waste - WILL NOT have to be in City compost bags for this week only. Cleanup items should be separated into the following piles:

Job Opening: Wastewater Operator

The City of Crookston is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Wastewater Operator for the Wastewater Division in the Public Works Department.  This position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the City’s wastewater treatment system.  The position requires a current Minnesota Class D wastewater operator license or ability to obtain license after mandated experience requirements.  Position also requires a valid Minnesota Class B driver’s license with airbrake endorsement or ability to obtain within six months of date of hire. Salary range is $15.54/hr.

NOTICE: Garbage Collection

City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day.

Garbage & recycling collection for Tuesday, July 4th (Independence Day Holiday) will be collected on Wednesday, July 5th . Wednesday’s garbage & recycling collection will remain the same.
