Spring 2015 Clean-Up Week

April 20th – April 24th is Spring Clean-Up Week in Crookston.  Clean-up items will be picked up only on your regular garbage pickup day and must be placed on the street boulevard.  Please note: Compost material - grass clippings, lawn or garden waste - WILL NOT have to be in City compost bags for this week only.  Cleanup items should be separated into the following piles:  garbage, clothing, cardboard, etc.; appliances; branches and yard waste; furniture, metal items, demolition, etc. and tires.  Placing these items out in separate piles will help speed the clean-up process.

Good Friday Closure Notice

City Hall will be closing at noon on Friday, April 3rd, 2015 in observance of Good Friday.

City garbage collection for Friday will remain the same.

Job Opening: Summer Employment with Public Works Water Division

Crookston Public Works - Water Division has openings for summer employment. Applicant must be at least 18yrs old and have a valid driver license. Average work week is 40 hours completing by noon on Fridays.

The City Council will meet Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at 7:00am in the Northshore Room at Crookston Inn to discuss the City's long-term strategy and goals. The official notice is attached below.

A meeting will be held on Monday, March 23rd, 2015 at 6:00PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall to discuss the Hoven Lane Park Development.

The Park Board will meet Monday, March 16th, 2015 at 4:15PM at City Hall in the Conference Room.

The Planning Commission will meet Tuesday, March 17th, 2015 at 7:00PM at City Hall in the Conference Room.

Community Forum for At Large Council Members

A community forum will be held Tuesday, March 10th at 7:00PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

We ask that community members bring their ideas on the City's future, growth, needs, and just general concerns.

UMC Hosting Upcoming City Council Meeting

The City Council and Ways & Means meetings scheduled for February 9th will be held at Kiehle Auditorium at the University of Minnesota Crookston instead of Crookston City Hall. The City Council meeting will begin at 7:30PM, with Ways & Means following.
