Filing for the 2014 Crookston elections opens July 29th, 2014 and closes at 5:00PM August 12th, 2014. The following offices will be on the 2014 ballot:

The City of Crookston, population 7,857, located in N.W. Minnesota in the heart of the Red River Valley is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. This will establish an eligibility roster to fill an existing vacancy and future vacancies. Police Officer starting salary is $45,095.92 per year with top pay of $53,175.21 being reached in two years.

2013 Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report

The City of Crookston is issuing the results of monitoring done on its drinking water for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2013. The purpose of this report is to advance consumers' understanding of drinking water and heighten awareness of the need to protect precious water resources.

Job Opening: Maintenance Service II/Wastewater Operator (CLOSED)

This position has been filled.

The City of Crookston is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Service II Wastewater Operator for the Wastewater Division in the Public Works Department. This position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the City's wastewater treatment system. The position also requires a valid Minnesota Class B driver's license with airbrake endorsement or ability to obtain within six months of date of hire. Starting salary is $15.48/hr with the potential to increase to $17.20/hr after six months.
