CROOKSTONet Municipal WIFI

To use any City of Crookston Public WIFI access points you must view and agree to the terms of service.

CROOKSTONet is primarily an 802.11B/G high gain wireless network that covers approximately 60% of Crookston and is encrypted / secured for emergency personnel and official city use. There are currently two public WIFI access spots for public use.

Crookston Sport Center - Has a total of six access points that provide almost 100% coverage throughout the building. WIFI access is public and unencrypted and unlocked. This means that it is very easy to gain access as well as it is completely unsecured, so avoid using any private information on the network. The connection is monitored and controlled for appropriate use.

Central Park Camping - Has one access point that provides adequate outdoor coverage of the camping area and likely beyond. WIFI access is semi public as it is intended for paying visitors of the campsite. There is encryption on the access point and the connection is monitored and controlled for appropriate use. Access can be obtained by visiting with the attendant during check in.
