Paying Your Bill

The Crookston Water Department wants bill payments to be as quick and easy for the customers as possible. As such, we offer several different payment methods for paying your bill. If you have questions about where or how to pay your bill, contact the office by phone at 218-281-5711 between 8 am and 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday.

When is my bill due?

Bills are due on the 5th of every month. Billing dates may vary slightly depending on the day we read your meter. If payment is not recieved by the date shown on the bill, you will be assessed a late charge of $4.

Pay your bill in person at:

8 am - 4:30 pm. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays)

Drop your payment off at:
Crookston City Hall: drop-box located in the brick wall located just outside the building's rear door (towards the Grand Movie Theater)

Sign up for our Automatic Payment Plan and have your bill automatically paid from your checking or savings account on the due date each month.

How does it work?
You'll receive your water bill as usual, but your payment will automatically deduct from your account on the due date shown on your bill. Your bill will state "PD by Bank - Do Not Pay" below the amount due.

Signing up is easy
Just fill out the Authorization for Automatic Payments form and return it to the Crookston Water Department. If your payment will be deducted from a checking account, a voided check must be attached to the authorization form. If you'd like your payment deducted from a savings account, a deposit slip with your account number on it must be attached to your authorization form.
