The City offers garbage collection services through Waste Management. The details and requirements for this service are listed below. Alternatively, residents may find it desirable to bring their own garbage directly to the Polk County Transfer Station 

Bins should not sit on the berm or in the street for more than 24 hours. Place on the street either the night before or early morning prior to pick up (out by 6am). Please remove bins from the street and or berm after your service has been completed this will help with street cleaning, traffic, and snow removal.

Garbage collection through Waste Management will be once per week on Wednesdays. 

Recycling pickup is once per month on the first Wednesday of the first full week of the month.
